Miss Lydia

Lydia’s love for dance began at just three years old when she fell in love with ballet under the guidance of her inspiring teacher, Miss Lavender. From that moment on, dance became a constant and joyful part of her life.

Throughout her training in school, college, and university, Lydia was fortunate to learn from incredible teachers who nurtured her passion and creativity. Their influence inspired her not only to continue dancing, but eventually to pursue teaching herself — a path she has now followed for over eight years.

After graduating from university with a BA (Hons) in Choreography and Dance, Lydia went straight into teaching at a theatre school, where she taught dance and musical theatre for nearly eight years. Her experience in both performance and education has shaped her into a passionate, supportive, and creative teacher who loves helping young people grow in confidence and self-expression.

Meeting Miss Amy reignited Lydia’s excitement for continuing her dance journey and inspiring the next generation. She believes dance is a powerful way for children to express themselves, build confidence, and discover joy through movement.
